Jules Feiffer signed it when I lived outside of DC. This was when the sniper was on the loose and the police were stopping all white utility vans. I was caught in the midst of this traffic (surrounded by these vans, which was quite scary) and a huge downpour, and it took forever to get to his book signing. Hardly anyone showed, poor man, though I hope he understood why.
And then to have a friend willing to take my book to the national conference and get it signed by Norton Juster …wow.
My copy is battered and glued together. The pages are grimy (because what profession [besides being a gardener or mechanic] gives you dirtier hands than teaching?) and covered in notes. I love it that way.
How very awesome. Thanks for sharing this.
AHH! You know I couldn’t resist this post! not with that picture! You got it signed?? That is SO cool!
So awesome!
LOVE this book. How incredible to get it signed.
YEAH!!! I really need to read this book again.
Awesome!! What an incredibly special treasure!
LUCKY! 😉
This is one of my faves, too.

Wow!!! I’m speechless.
Do you look at it every five minutes and hug it and pat it??? Swoon.

Is this one of the books you read with my brother? It looks familiar!
Steph, I probably tried to make him read it (you know how I was!).
