And just because I need to share with other HUNGER GAMES fans: I am number 119 on my library’s waiting list for MOCKINGJAY. My local indie’s children’s book buyer told me she’d call when the first used copy comes in (thanks, Andrea!). Don’t know if I can wait. I might have to break down and buy it new.
Thanks for the great links. Darcy’s week of supporting authors sounds awesome.
We did break down and preorder Mockingjay. My daughter said she gets first dibs on it.
Thanks for the links! I tried to hold out for Mockingjay too, but then I got my husband into the books and he liked them so much he preordered it for us. I guess I know what I’ll be doing on Tuesday all day! LOL!
Have a great weekend, Caroline!
Thanks for the links, Caroline. Enjoy your weekend.
OK, I broke down and pre-ordered a copy from Amazon last month. I had to justify the purchased twelve ways till Sunday but in the end, I just wanted one. 😉
Great links! I’m embarrassed to say that I haven’t read Hunger Games yet. I know, I know . . . I’m on the waiting list for THAT at my library. 🙂

Update: I’ve just pre-ordered MOCKINGJAY, blogging friend Jody Hedlund’s THE PREACHER’S BRIDE, and author Sarah Dooley’s mid-grade debut, LIVVIE OWEN LIVED HERE. Can’t wait!
Thanks for the links. I couldn’t wait either. I preordered Mockingjay months ago.
I pre-ordered Mockingjay also.
Caroline, I came over from Chip’s blog. I’d like to keep track of you, but I always forget to go back to blogs I like and I don’t use a blog reader for the simple reason that I’d clog the thing up with so many blogs I was interested in and then I never went to visit any of the blogs. But I love getting blog posts in my email, where I can quickly scan and delete and only go to the site if I want to leave a comment.
Any chance you can give us an email subscription option? Or, put me on a list and send me a newsletter when your book is published. I’ll forget the book and your name, otherwise.
I ordered MOCKINGJAY, too. With four kids in the house waiting to read it (besides this “big kid”), I’m just wondering if one copy is enough 🙂
It seems like everyone else pre-ordered Mockingjay, so I’ll just sound like an echo. I get most of my books from the library, but there are a few favorites I’ll buy on Amazon.
