FAR FROM YOU Winner and Some Housekeeping Notes

Congratulations to Weronika Janczuk! I emailed last night to tell her the good news. If you don’t know Weronika, please stop by her blog. She is an amazing young woman and truly talented writer.

As many of you know, I’m in the process of moving from Louisiana to New Mexico. Tomorrow, the packers come. Friday, the moving van will drive away (taking this computer with them).

I have scheduled posts to run these next few weeks and will, when I can, stop in and say hello. As much as I hate to do it, I will put on the word verification while gone (as I’ve been running into a lot of spam lately).

Thank you, faithful readers, for all you bring to the conversation around here. I look forward to hearing what you’ll say while I’m away!

Hope your move goes well. Don’t feel bad about taking a few weeks off blogging while you are getting settled in. Just let us know.

I was just wondering the other day if you had moved yet.

Happy travels Caroline. What an exciting new adventure for you. Take as much time as you need to get settled, we’ll be right here when you get back.

Good luck with the move! Long-distance moves are not fun. But I’ve heard NM is beautiful. ๐Ÿ™‚

Good luck! Moving is exciting – and a little scary as well. Have fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oooo…I’ve only lived in one state my entire life. A big move like that intrigues me, though I’m glad I’m not the one who has to pack all those boxes!

I came over from your HCB comment today to introduce myself at your blog…and be a little “real”! ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you have time to write in the midst of your move, feel free to write a post that represents relationships outside of the HCB network/community!

As a content editor for HCB, I want to thank you for writing and let you know we’re glad you’re contributing and joining the conversation!

Good luck with the move. We moved from New Orleans to Seattle 5 years ago this October. Drove cross-country with two adults, one 4-year-old, and one 15-year-old cat in a Mini Cooper.

It’s always harder to travel with kids, but somehow more fun.

Even though we left our entire extended family behind, we’re exactly where we want to be both personally and professionally.

Taking huge leaps of faith are sometimes their own reward.

    Good luck with your travels.

We’ll send some prayers along for the ride!

We did it in reverse five years ago – my hubby was already here in Louisiana, and I drove out from Arizona in a 35′ RV with two boys and a big dog. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Looking forward to hearing how things are going.

Caroline, I hope your move is the essence of smoothness. (Sounds like a line from Zoolander! ha ha!)

Here’s a verse novel recommendation that I think will make you pick the book up. Grimes is one of the pioneers of the sub-genre, and very much is worth noting!
