…MAY B. has a new home!

Random House imprint Schwartz and Wade has picked up my verse novel for a (probable) spring 2012 release.

What’s special about this is my editor, Emily Seife, bid on MAY last March when the book went to auction. I love that she was interested in my book well before it became available again.

Thank you for your support these last few weeks. I have read through your thoughtful comments many times. Being a part of the children’s literature writing community truly is a blessing.

In the Great Internet Black-out of 2010, I missed your post about your imprint closing. Gah! I feel awful.

But! At least there’s a happy ending. I’m so glad everything worked out for you.
