Let me know how you liked XVI and We Hear the Dead… they’re on my to-be-read list to!
I’m getting ready to read The Weird Sisters and I think I’m going to re-read Elie Wiesel’s Night too. Oh and I’m also reading Square Foot Gardening…fun, fun. 😛
WE HEAR THE DEAD almost felt like two books: the story of the Fox family and Megan Fox’s romance. I’m still really intrigued by all I’ve read and found a lot of parallels with A DROWNED MAIDEN’S HAIR, which was also very good.
I just finished Junot Diaz’s “The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao” (great!) and am starting “Little Women” with my 12-year-old because she says she just can’t get into it and I just can’t believe that she may grow up not loving Louisa May Alcott, so we’re going to give it a shot together.
Great choices. I’ve heard great things about The Healing Spell and am curious about XVI. I have Matched from the library. My daughter looked at it and immediately claimed it first and loved it. Can’t wait to read it.
those look marvellous! x

I took WE HEAR THE DEAD with me to SC over the weekend and really, really enjoyed it. I’m going to have to read more on the Fox family now.
I could never pick up NIGHT again. It was hard enough the first time. Brave soul.
Tell me how the square foot gardening book is. I’d love to try this!
We Hear the Dead is on my shelf along with Paranormalcy. I started Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly last night.

I’m looking forward to reading We Hear the Dead. Don’t know when, but I will someday. 🙂
XVI is on my list, too. Can’t wait to read it…

Rachael, I’ve been meaning to read Oscar Wao. How fun to read Little Women with your daughter! Hope this will turn into special bonding time.
There are some awesome titles there, Caroline. I recently finished Lost Voices and am currently reading Dark Parties. 🙂
