I write for what’s left of the eight-year-old still rattling around inside my head.

And mine was filled with horses and ponies and hay and saddles. Why doesn’t anyone write any of those books anymore? Misty of Chincoteague, Stormy, King of the Hill.

Well, because the world has changed, it’s not quite that simple a lifestyle anymore and kids today want cell phones and Wii games, that’s why. And if they read they want vamps, weres, and fairies.

Sorry Caroline for jumping on a soap box.

I hope things are going well for you heading into the holidays.

THAT is an awesome quote! That’s exactly why I write the type of stories I write!

Great quote! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog (Falling Leaflets). I’ll be sure to look for your debut novel!
