I have one more packet of Class of 2k11/Elevensie bookmarks to give away! Comment below for your chance to win.

Charlie Joe Jackson’s Guide to Not Reading – Tommy Greenwald

Charlie Joe’s efforts to avoid reading lead him into all sorts of ridiculous mix ups that are entertaining to avid and reluctant readers alike.*

Between Shades of Gray – Ruta Sepetys

The seldom heard story of the erasure of the Baltic states during WWII told in brutal, riveting detail, this book is a triumph of the human spirit and a must for the history classroom.

Exposed – Kimberly Marcus

A verse novel focused on what we know and believe about those we love, which uses the language of photography to examine perspective and expose truth.

*My boys fought over the copy I brought home from the library and read it multiple times.

I own my very own copy of EXPOSED. Kim Marcus and I have been friends for a few years now (and we’re agency sisters, too!). She is awesome. We got to meet in person at ALA in New Orleans last summer. And I loved EXPOSED. I thought it was pretty brilliant. She’s working on her next book (she’s also with Random House.)
