The Clear-Off-Your-Shelves Challenge Ends…Officially

It’s over, and I’ve read one book that qualifies. Still, it was helpful having this challenge push me toward reading through the books I already own.

Remember, though, that the Unofficial Challenge continues until November 30, 2010. I’ve made a list of the many books I own and haven’t yet read. Once I’ve ploughed through book club titles, library finds, and things I’ve borrowed from friends, I’ll be back to my own bookcases.

How about you other Clear-Off readers?

I’ve only read one book this month. I try to make that my goal- one book for pleasure, one for craft.

    Shannon,
Join me in the unofficial one! You’ve got a year to read through those books you’ve never gotten around to.

Okay, I accept. Count me in on the unofficial one – but what about all the heaping boxes of new books I will feel compelled by powerful unseen forces to add to the already overcrowded shelves? 🙂

Didn’t do too well. I got wrapped up in the Percy Jackson series and they’ve been about all I could read for the past month. 🙂

I’ve been reading a lot of what I own, but anytime I’m near a book store I just have to buy more. There are so many good books I want to read!

I’m currently working on my WIP and therefore have been doing LOTS of reading in order to avoid any real work done on said wip.

I’m doing quickie reviews on my blog for
Circle of Friends, Frostbitten, Ice, Hunger Games, Catching Fire and The Road.

Writing during NaNo has proven impossible. The last book I cleared off my TBR pile was Hunger Games – fabulous!!!

Oh, I’m so ashamed. I have so many books to read, and I just keep heaping books on top of the pile. What a great idea! Maybe a good New Years resolution?

Ugh – I’m jealous! My TBR stack is way too tall, and continually growing! I try to be like Tamika, and finish one fiction and one craft book a month.

congrats to you!! Thanks for coming and sharing how your writing journey started on my blog today!

Fun challenge, Caroline! I’m trying to plow through my shelves and organize and read and all that!

I missed the challenge. 🙁 I have been making a huge effort to read every book I own. The only problme is I keep buying more…I do have them organized. As I read a book and log it into my read list, I move it to a different shelf.
