Jasper and the Riddle of Riley's Mine

Any day now a box full of advance reader copies* of my new novel, Jasper and the Riddle of Riley’s Mine, will show up on my doorstep. I can hardly wait!

Guess what that means? It’s time to pull together a launch team.

If you’re not familiar with a launch team, it’s simply a hand-picked group of super fans excited to spread the word about a book — in this case, my first prose novel with a boy protagonist who’s modeled after Huckleberry Finn. Each launch team member will receive a free ARC and commit to posting an honest review on Amazon plus one other online site. Interested? Only newsletter subscribers get to be considered for the launch team. You can sign up by clicking through.

Curious about why Jasper’s glasses are broken or why he carries his mama’s washboard on his back? Sign up to be an early reader, and you’ll know over three months before the book releases. But do so quickly. There are a limited number of ARCs available.

*Early copies of the book that go out to reviewers, librarians, bookstores, and other influential readers.

Would love to be considered for the launch team of your new novel. I’m a lover of Tom Sawyer and Penrod (which we read in 7th grade), Sounds like your new novel would be something I would enjoy too.

That’s it for now. As soon as the ARCs arrive, I’ll send out a newsletter with a link to a survey. I’ll select the launch team from that. Thanks for your interest!

I would love to be a part of your launch team! I’m also part of a book group called #BookVoyage. We are ten teachers across the country that receive and share ARCs/books by mail and tweet/share our thoughts via social media. I’d love to pass it on once I’ve read it. Thank you for the opportunity.
