Why We Read

Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.

He is DARLING. I don’t envy you the puppy thing though. When we adopted our dog he was fully house trained and he’s still a pain sometimes. But puppies are so cute.

Ha ha! I’ve always loved that quote. Since getting a puppy, I’ve realized books might be the better friend, as books don’t chew up your valuable things. 🙂

LOVE the goldendoodle! What a cutie!

My sons want everyone to know that Boo is a girl. 🙂 Boo is a Cajun term of endearment…a great nickname for a Boudreaux, no?

    She’s pretty cute, huh?

She’s beautiful! Good luck with the potty training and all of that. My sweet “puppy” just turned 11, it’s hard to believe he’s that old. (He’s a maltese, so he’s little and seems younger than he is.)

Also, thanks for your comment today, I appreciate you sharing that with me. It’s wonderful to hear success stories; it gives me hope. 🙂

Oh, Caroline! She’s adorable. Yes, Boo is a perfect name.

    Love the quote!

Heidi, books are the valuable things my dog loves to chew. He doesn’t realize he’s risking life and limb each time he steals a cherished book. *g*

I must conclude that your agent is a dog person? (If not don’t tell me and spoil my belief system:D)

    He’s adorable.

Caroline–He’s adoreable! Be prepared to not sleep for a while. Have you had a dog before? Our dog is three. She was our first dog…I had no idea what to expect.

It may be too dark to read inside a dog, but my Macy seems to think she can write in there…she is a chronic pen chewer. (I’m still learning how to have a dog.)

Sharon and Natalie, she’s the first dog I’ve had in adulthood, so I’ve had some reading up to do. The first thing I did when getting my new library card was check out dog books.

Thankfully, goldendoodles are very easy going, which makes things easier.

We’ve recorded Puppies 101 and are going to sit down as a family today to watch.

Oh, you got a goldendoodle! I’ve heard every dog with a doodle on the end of its name is smart as anything and also hypoallergenic. Is that true?

Enjoy your puppy! He looks amazing. 🙂

Amy, my husband is allergic but grew up with a cockapoo. So far, so good.
