Living with uncertainty is like having a rock in your shoe. If you can’t remove the rock, you have to figure out how to walk despite it. There is simply no other choice.
I did, too. It’s just brilliant. And yes, a quote. I like big, sweeping ones (the kinds I’d ask my students to find to capture big moments, characterization, themes, etc.), but I’m also partial to small observations like this one.
