Stop by Alamosa Books on Saturday, 14 January to help celebrate May B.’s release into the world!

Learn about the  Albuquerque Reads tutoring program and the difference its making in young lives in my hometown. Alamosa Books has generously offered to donate $100 toward Albuquerque Reads, a non-profit that can only exist with community support. I’ll donate $1 toward every book sold at the party. I’d love for you to help drive my donation up!

When: Saturday, 14 January 2012
            2:00-3:30pm

Where: Alamosa Books
            8810 Holly Ave.
            Suite D
            Albuquerque, NM 87122
(At Paseo del Norte and Ventura, across from Trader Joe’s)

If you’re from around these here parts, happen to be passing through (like Sherrie Peterson), or feel inspired to give your own dollar toward Albuquerque Reads, I’d love to see you!

What a great idea, Caroline, and very generous! I’ve thought about doing something like that for my signings, but didn’t know how to go about it. You will be my mentor. 🙂

    Merry Christmas!

Kimberley, you’re a dear, but I’m sure we know who’s mentoring who!

May’s reading struggles and Albuquerque Read’s wonderful efforts really dovetailed for me. I leave tutoring every week just floating. It’s so special to get in a bit of teaching time, kid time, and book time, all the while supporting my dear hometown.
